Hina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baby goats and animal feed for her livestock business.

Hina's story

Hina is a 35-year-old woman who lives with her spouse in the area of Muzaffargharh, Pakistan. For four years, she has been raising baby goats as a source of income. Hina has borrowed from BRAC Pakistan and receives financial aid for her livestock business. She buys baby goats from the goat market and then raises them until the following season when she re-sells them in the same markets with the help of her husband. Hina generally sells her goats during a festival season such as Eid ul Azha (Sacrifice Eid which is a Muslim festival).

Hina is requesting a 30,000 PKR loan through BRAC Pakistan to buy baby goats and goat feed for her business. She plans to expand her business for a better future. Hina and her family are thankful to Kiva lenders and the field partner BRAC Pakistan for helping them fund this loan to improve their living standards.
