Virgen De Copacabana Group's story

Rosa was a very caring mother. Today she lives with her husband and works as a baker. She is 51 years old.

They work in ‘Sacaba’, a rural area that is famous for its cuisine and its corn-based macerated drinks.

Rosa (seated on the left side, wearing a brown blouse and black skirt) and her husband live in their own house. The desire to improve sales inspired her to lead a group of entrepreneurs with businesses such as: shoe store, fashion jewelry sales, hair salon, cosmetics sales, dentistry service, clothing sales, and vegetable sales.

Rosa is a baker. She has an oven, and she prepares baked items such as cakes, empanadas, donuts, and pies. With her husband, she sells her goods on foot in busy areas. To improve productivity, she needs to buy baking supplies in bulk, such as: flour, sugar, eggs, etc. The advantage is that during this season, she receives many orders. The problem is that she does not have the purchasing power to buy a large quantity of supplies. Her dream is to open a store rather than being a street vendor.

She wants to bake double her usual amount. With this loan, she will buy baking supplies in bulk to double her daily production and improve sales during high season. This is her first loan with the institution in two years working in this business.

For these reasons, Rosa is seeking a loan to buy baking supplies in bulk to double production and generate the best sales income of the year.
