A loan helped to buy more dry goods to sell.

Rosetta's story

This is 27-year-old Rosetta. She has a three-year old child and she is single. Her child lives with her at home. Rosetta never had the opportunity to attend school.

Rosetta runs a business selling dry goods. She established this business five years ago. The problem she is faced with is the rise and fall of the US dollar rate in the country. She like her business because she has achieved great things in business.

To remain in business, she requested a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more dry goods to sell and generate more profit, which will help her achieve her goals.

She started the trade with her own savings and she learned the trade from her mother. She uses a car to transport her goods to her business site, where she sells her goods 15 hours each day. In the future, she would like to deal as a big businesswoman. She says thanks for your support.
