Thea Group's story

Thea, 41, is married and has two children between the ages of 18 and 20 years. She resides in the Kandal province of Cambodia. She is farmer, and has been growing chia seeds to earn a profit. Her husband run his own business, constructing wooden tables, chairs, and other wooden furniture to sell. They have been working in their business for about the past 11 years. They typically make around $12 USD per day.

Thea leads a group of three members. She is pictured on the right. She would like to use her loan share to purchase construction materials to build furniture in order to enlarge her husband’s business.

With the profits, she will expand her business, renovate her house, and support her children in getting a higher education.
