Mwase 3 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a clean cook stove, a supply of fuel pellets, and a solar lighting and phone charging system for his family’s use.

Mwase 3 Group's story

Cotton is a 50-year-old married man with 9 children, 6 of whom are in school. He lives in a rural community near the other members of Mwase 3 Group, and his family income is earned through farming. When he has time, he enjoys getting together with friends to watch football. Cotton appreciates the profits farming generates, but he finds that fluctuating crop prices are challenging.

Cotton says his main reason for buying a cook stove is to enable his family to save time collecting firewood for cooking. He also says that bright and clean solar lights are really going to improve his children’s ability to study at night. Cotton thinks that it is important that these products are environmentally friendly, too!
