Total loan: $1,100

Flag of Solomon Islands
Honiara, Capital Territory, Solomon Islands / Housing

Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cement, nails, bricks and conduct rolls and fittings for her housing improvement.

Rose's story

Rose is a 50 year-old woman who is married with four children and lives in a rural community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a housing business providing houses for rent in her community to earn a living. She has been doing this for 3 years.

Rose has requested a loan to pay for housing materials like cement, nails, bricks and conduct rolls and fittings to make improvements to her house, so that her tenants can have a good standard of living.

She hopes to use her profits to support her family and build a new house for them.

She became a member of SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
