Oscar David's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on staple food items, to improve sales, and to have a greater variety of products.

Oscar David's story

Oscar is an honest, responsible, and humble man and a dreamer. He lives with his family comprised of his partner and three children ages 8, 5, and 2 who depend on him economically. He lives in the town of San Antonio de Palmito, an area of opportunities which has been tarnished because of the Colombian armed conflict. As a result, paperwork presents a bigger risk.

Oscar has a grocery store business that he finds is growing. He comes to the community of Kiva, asking for a loan in order to buy inventory of the staple food items. He has had previous credit with a good payment history.

Oscar wants to continue going forward to improve the living conditions of his family and to pay for his children’s studies.
