Grema's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, canned foods, noodles, biscuits and tea for her general store business.

Grema's story

Grema is 37 years old, is married, and has five children. She lives in a rural community outside of Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She plans to start a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, canned foods, biscuits, and tea in her community to earn a living.

Grema has requested a loan to pay for rice, canned foods, noodles, biscuits and tea as start-up stock for her business and to assist her in running her business.

She became a member of SPBD in 2017 to gain access to financial services for her business, and this is her first loan. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's daily expenses and help pay for her children's education.
