Kulbara is 45, married, and has two daughters and two sons. She has a secondary education and has earned the main income for her family by raising livestock and planting crops since 1998. Thanks to her hard work and help from her spouse, she currently has one cow, two horses, and 21 sheep, as well as a 1.92 hectare plot of land where she grows beans. Kulbara has a contract with a local dairy plant to supply organic milk that is processed into dairy products. This allows Kulbara to continuously invest in her farming business. Having learned that she could take out a loan with Bai Tushum Bank secured by her contract, she applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase two dairy cows in increase her milk sales volume and her livestock headcount. Payments for the milk will be directly transferred into her bank account, and the loan repayments will be automatically deducted.
