Virginio's story

HVirginio lives with his parents in the town of La Bermeja, Tabaconas district, San Ignacio province, Perú. Virginio, age 25, is a young farmer who works growing and producing coffee. He inherited some agricultural land from his father, and later established his coffee farm.

The loan will help Virginio to increase the production and the quality of his coffee through the purchase of mulch for adequate fertilization. To do this, he needs funds to be able to buy mulch to fertilize his coffee at the appropriate time. He is grateful to the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Norandino for having given him the help and trust with the loan, and he promises to repay the debt punctually. He is a new member, well known in his community, and the loan is guaranteed by a continuing member. This young man's future plan is to save to be able to build his own home and start his own family.
