Oneness Group's story
Florence believes through hard work she can attain whatever goal she desires to achieve. She is a self-driven woman who never loses hope even if there are obstacles that might try to hinder her progress. Florence is 42 years old and works hard all day to produce the best for her 3 children. She started running her flea market business 15 years ago and has managed to be a pillar in the improvement of her family's welfare. She started selling fruits and vegetables but through her perseverance she managed to add clothes and kitchenware in her stall to convert it into a half flea-market. Florence is involved in the daily restocking of fruits and vegetables which she does at Chikwanha or Mbare Market early in the morning. She spends her whole day at her flea market located in Chitungwiza. She is also responsible for restocking clothes, kitchenware and other flea market commodities from Harare Central Business District weekly. She is the sole salesperson and never rests for she is currently the family’s breadwinner. Her husband sometimes helps her with restocking since he is unemployed and does not have a stable income to contribute to the household income. Florence got a loan of $250 to restock more buckets, dishes, towels, baby blankets, fruits, and vegetables for her flea market business.
