Fozia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more crockery inventory to sell in the street for her husband's crockery selling business.

Fozia's story

Fozia is a 43-year-old, married woman living with her husband in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Fozia is standing with her husband in the photo.

Her husband is a street hawker and sells crockery items. He sells glasses, plates, spoons, buckets, cups, dishes, etc. Her husband's business is their only source of income, and he has to afford the expenses of utility bills, the medical expenses of his old parents and household expenses, as well.

He sold his present stock and does not have cash in hand to buy new stock to sell. Therefore, Fozia requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan so that her husband can increase the inventory and earnings as well and can generate more income for his family to fulfill their needs.

Fozia is very thankful to Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan.
