Doralia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to move out of her parents house into a home that took 6 years of savings with her husband and child.

Doralia's story

Doralia lives in a small community in Tabasco where she was born and raised. As you can see in the picture, she is very close to her family. Here she poses with her nephew Jose, her dad Francisco, her mother Margarita, her siblings Francisca, Adrian and Antonio and her uncle Daniel. Part of this closeness is the fact that she continues to live with her husband and child in her parents home.

For the last 6 years, Doralia and her husband have saved to build what you can see today. It is an extraordinary goal they have achieved, and Doralia fills with pride every time she comes with her family to see her future home. To finally move in, Doralia needs to install the windows and door and finish the interior walls. She is asking for this loan so that she can pay for this as soon as possible and move in as quickly as possible. Without this loan, she will still do the work as she did the house, saving until she completes the amount needed, but move in maybe in a couple of years.

Doralia has no access to credit from other organizations due to the remoteness of the community she lives in and her low income. Doralia is excited to move in to her own house, to have privacy after years but also to make her parents proud of what she has been able to achieve.
