Telemak's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase three calves, forage to feed them and potatoes seeds.

Telemak's story

Telemak has been involved in agriculture for 15 years. He is a very hardworking farmer and does his best to sustain his family's living. Telemak lives with his wife and son.

He took a loan from a local financial institution before and was unable to repay it, due to his family's weak financial situation and his unemployment.

But after years of tireless work, he enlarged his farm, which is profitable enough to cover monthly payments. Now, Telemak has been approved for a loan, within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international.

The second-chance loan program provides loans to people who have a bad credit history and no access to credit products.

This loan is very important for Telemak, to enlarge his farm and to improve his family's living conditions. With the loan he will purchase three calves, forage to feed them and potatoes seeds for cultivation works.
