Celasia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase breeding guinea pigs of an improved breed, concentrated feed and to build pens.

Celasia's story

Celasia lives in the sector of San Felipe in the populated area of La Bermeja, Tabaconas district, San Ignacio province, Peru. Celasia, 44 years old, is the mother of five children of whom three children already have their own families and two are still studying in secondary school.

She works raising guinea pigs in the traditional way, which she sells in the local market. In addition to this, she also has her plot of coffee, which she grows with her husband.

Celasia is a returning borrower with La Coopac Norandino with a good credit history. With the loan, she will purchase breeders of an improved breed, concentrated feed and to build pens, making the most of the high demand that this little rodent has.

Celasia's dream is to have a small, profitable guinea pig farm which will allow her to give her children a higher education and, with this, improve the quality of life of her entire family.
