Juliana's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a solar energy home system, to change the wellbeing of an entire state, one family at a time.

Juliana's Group's story

Juliana lives near Mezquital, in the state of Durango. She is dedicated to an artisanal handicraft which requires a lot of talent to make. She works mainly with bags of different sizes. It is a very delicate type of art. It consists of a lot of colors and extensive detail, so they must spend a lot of quality work on it.

During the day, Juliana has no problem doing her bags because she can see perfectly in the daylight. When night comes, she wishes to continue working, but they must illuminate with ocote that is harmful to the family's heath and the lighting is not great.

She is looking to buy a solar energy home system that would allow her to have a good source of light. This would be very beneficial to her because that way she will have no trouble looking at the details in her art and she would be able to be more productive, which will bring her a higher income.
