Uwe Macho Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on rice, oils, sugar and spices.

Uwe Macho Group's story

Claudette sells foodstuffs out of her home on a busy city street. She is the president of the village bank Uwe Macho and a client of the Hekima MFI. She is the 40-year-old married mother of 6 children, 4 of whom are in school while the other 2 are grown up. Her husband is a painter.

Claudette will stock up on bags of rice, oils, sugar and spices to strengthen her activity. She wants to offer her customers a selection of good food items.

She started her business 15 years ago with funding from her husband. Her goals are to support her children's education and ensure that they are fed.

Claudette thanks Hekima for helping entrepreneurs who cannot use traditional banking.
