Connie's story

Connie is a 24-year-old mother with five children who runs a small business of selling taro and bananas in her village to earn a living. Connie needs a loan to buy chemicals, a wheelbarrow, chainsaw, more taro roots (seedlings), a backpack sprayer, rake, knife, and water tank to help her run the business.

Connie comes from a poor family. Her husband is the only one who has worked to earn a living. Connie realized her husband's salary is not enough to pay family bills. She became a member of SPBD in 2010 to seek financing to build a small business to help her family needs, especially her children's education. Connie's dream is to one day earn more profit to expand her business and improve her family's living standards.
