Elgibor Group's story

Elgibor Ladies is a group of women who are very ambitious and they are passionate about business. Diana is one of the group members, and she is into cross border trading.

She lives in Budiriro, a high-density suburb, with her husband who does part time jobs in companies that have seasonal products like tobacco companies. Diana is 25 years old, and they have one young child who does not yet go to school. With hopes of a brighter future for her family, Diana is importing clothes and children's diapers from South Africa and selling them in the Budiriro community. Usually she crosses every month to restock baby wear, boys suits, and diapers; this helps her to earn more profits in this business.

With the motive of growing her business, she decided to join with other young women who are into various small businesses in community and formed their group. Diana want to stock more clothes from South Africa using the loan from Thrive.
