Shifting Levels Group's story

Norest is a lady, aged 33, who believes that if more effort is invested in the business, the result is success. From her name, Norest does not give much time to resting but to investing much time in her business. She is a mother of three, and her husband is a commuter omnibus driver. She operates a roadside stall, where she sells groceries, snacks, and airtime. The income she gets from her business, in addition to her husband’s income, is used to pay children’s fees and household expenses.

After getting their first loan, the group repaid very well, and their businesses improved. Norest started selling airtime in bulk so that she could supply some local retail sellers. In addition, her stock levels increased, and now she can keep some of her stock in her house since her roadside stall is small.

She has found that airtime is the fast-moving product, and the markup is a very small percentage. To have more return, she must sell more. Norest will use her loan to purchase airtime in bulk.
