Utulivu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for 60 pieces of clothing made of traditional 'pagne' cloth.

Utulivu Group's story

Esperance is a merchant and the president of the loan group called “Utulivu”. A client of the microfinance institution Hekima, she is 48, divorced, and the mother of a child already married. A vendor of clothing made from 'pagnes' (the colorful cloth of western Africa) in her home on a busy avenue in town, she is going to purchase 60 pieces of ‘pagne’ clothing to bolster her business and make available nice styles for her customers.

She began her business with capital from a loan ten years ago. She intends to build a house to prepare for her retirement. So she thanks Hekima for supporting entrepreneurs excluded from the classic banking system.
