A loan helped to buy another dairy cow and animal feeds.

Monica's story

Hello special people!

Monica would be characterized by her neighbors and milk customers as an amiable, honest, dedicated, and charismatic woman. Listening to Monica refer to the different breeds of dairy cows on her compound, one could mistake her for an agricultural extension officer, which she is not - she is just a normal farmer.

Monica hails from Eldoret, Kenya, also nicknamed “city of champions.” Monica has much experience in farming. Having practiced farming for the past 12 years, she is considered one of the best dairy farmers in her village. Monica’s primary sources of income are selling milk, eggs, and crops.

Monica is a very dedicated dairy farmer. Monica has space on her farm that is unused, and she wants to use the space to keep more dairy cows. That is why she is kindly seeking a loan to buy another dairy cow and more animal feed.

Through the loan, Monica is going to improve her living conditions and also improve the conditions of her family. She has a ready market for milk, and the area's population is high. Hence, Monica will not have a problem selling the milk and increasing her income level.

Monica does not take the Kiva lenders for granted for taking their precious time amidst their busy schedule to check her short profile and loan request, and hopes that you click that lend button on your computer.
