Flor De Azucena Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, noodles and oil wholesale.

Flor De Azucena Group's story

The "Flor de Azucena" communal bank will begin its second cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. It is made up of eight members and is directed by a general committee. Sandra is the president.

The loans will benefit micro-entrepreneurs of which Sandra forms a part. At this moment in time, she has a business selling food. She explains that she learnt this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she will be taking out now will be to increase capital, purchasing rice, noodles and oil, which she will buy from wholesalers in the city of La Paz and subsequently prepare and sell food at her business.

This kind of work allows her to make an income to financially support her family, given that she is single and has three children.
