A loan helped to restock second hand clothes and shoes.

Pedc Group's story

Precious is the proud mother of four children. She was raised in a family with working ethics and says her father always urged her to become self- sufficient even in the presence of an employed husband. Growing up she always had a passion of being her “own boss” and her entrepreneurial talent dates back to her high school days when she was selling sweets to other students.

Precious started her business of selling second hand clothes and shoes around four years ago using her personal savings as her start–up capital.

She runs a flea market business that sells second hand shoes, bedding and clothes at a large shopping centre in Chitungwiza. Her hard work has kept her in business despite the competition she is experiencing.

Waking up early and spending all day at the flea-market has become her daily habit. She is also involved in restocking which she does after every two weeks from Makoni.

She restocked more second hand clothes for her flea-market with her loan.
