Jose Angel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase seedlings, bags, biofertilizers, calcium, zinc, etc., and to pay his helpers.

Jose Angel's story

José has worked for many years of his life in the coffee business. On his small farm, he has a distribution of different fields to have a varied offer at the time of sale. Although there is an area destined for basic grains, these are for their own consumption. His farm is 10.2 hectares, which his wife helps manage, in the northern region of Nicaragua, in the city of Jinotega, where he lives with his children. His farm is managed under the criteria of Good Agricultural Practices, as part of his commitment to the environment.

For this loan cycle, in partnership with the PAC technical team, he has designed a plan to establish 0.7 hectares of cocoa, which will offer a stable job to other members of his community. The requested funds will be invested to purchase seedlings, bags, biofertilizers, calcium, zinc, etc., and to pay his helpers.

With the support of his family, he has been able to maximize the resources and yield on his farm, stabilizing his family's situation and supporting the community. José dream is to have a model plantation, on which he can share his experience with other producers and improve his family's well-being.
