Thanh Luong 33 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy piglets to raise and sell and use the profit to build a new house.

Thanh Luong 33 Group's story

Lanh, 23, is a young Thai lady who lives with her husband and her young child in a small house in a remote village. She and her husband mainly work at farming activities; cultivating rice holds a very important role in production, just like in many other households in her village. Furthermore, her husband works overtime for the local employer to earn extra income to cover the expenditure of the family.

Because of difficult conditions, Lanh has made an effort to diversify agricultural activities, such as raising chickens and growing rice. She said that she found joining Anh Chi Em Program's activities was interesting and useful for her business, so she decided to take a fifth loan after being successful with the four previous loans. This time she will use the loan to buy piglets. She hopes that with the loan and training sessions from Anh Chi Em, she will be able to improve her family's income as well as build a new house and provide as much as she can for her child.
