Addeba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a new sewing machine and sewing material for her daughter to grow her sewing business.

Addeba's story

Adeeba is a 42-year-old married woman, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan, with her spouse and four children.

Her husband works in a marble factory as a laborer with a low wage rate; he cannot bear his house expenses. So, Adeeba and her daughter financially help her family through stitching cloth at home. Both were stitching beautifully, this is the reason the ladies of their hometown like their arts very much.

Due to this, the continuous burden of stitching clothes is too heavy. So, Adeeba wants to purchase a new sewing machine and sewing materials (i.e. needles, spools, threads etc.) for her daughter so she can easily cope with the increasing demand, reduce the burden on her mother, and also enhance the business. Therefore, Adeeba has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so she can buy a new sewing machine and sewing material for her daughter.

She thanks Kiva and field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
