Sharon May's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay labor and buy concrete blocks, cement, rebar, nails, GI sheets, tiles, pipes and door to improve her toilet.

Sharon May's story

Sharon May is a resident of San Dionisio, Iloilo. She is married and has four children ages 4 and 1-year-old. She earns a living through her direct selling business. Meanwhile, her husband works as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker).

Now, she asks for a loan of PHP 8m000 through KIVA’s field partner, CEVI-Philippines who promote safe water and proper hygiene. She will use this loan to improve their toilet for her family’s safety.

From this loan she will buy materials such as concrete blocks, cement, rebar, nails, GI sheets, tiles, pipes and a door. Part of this loan will be used to pay for labor.

Indeed, through this loan Sharon May can probably reach her goal.
