A loan helped to buy more groceries to sell.

Marina's story

Marina is engaged in a retailing business in her village. She has been selling an assortment of groceries for 25 years. With her desire to uplift their investment and earn greater profit, she and her husband also run a soft broom-making business. She cited that thru their income, she is able to send her four children to school.

Marina wants to grow her businesses more since her children are about to attend college. With this, she is requesting a loan of PHP 50,000 to buy more groceries to sell. She will also use the loan to buy stocks of hill grass, and broom sticks for her broom-making business. She will consider the loan as a big help to grow her businesses more and be able to sustain the college education of her children.
