Blanca Oliva's story

Blanca is 48 years old, a single mother, and lives with her son, Joel, who is 13 years old and currently is studying. To get ahead with her family, she has worked selling empanadas, aborrajados [deep fried plantains stuffed with cheese], and fruit salads, work that she is doing outside of schools and in the streets of the city. With great passion and dedication, she goes out to complete her work. This has allowed her, little by little, to pay for some necessities.

In the future, she wants to have her own retail space to avoid having to walk selling her product in the streets. she wants to continue working and needs support because she needs to purchase flour, cooking oil, eggs, sugar, heavy cream, and other necessary supplies for her business.
