A loan helped to buy bran for pigs.

Na Tau 71 Group's story

Mrs. Tam, 24, is a Thai ethnic farmer who has been married and has two little sons. She lives with her parents-in-law, husband and her children in a small house in a remote village where agriculture is the main income-generating activity. Like other villagers, Tam and her husband work very hard at cultivation and animal husbandry to earn a living with plenty of activities such as growing rice, raising pigs, chicken, fish, duck, buffalo, etc.

This is the fourth time that Tam has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program and she will use the loan to buy bran for her pigs. She hopes that she will have a good harvest and gradually improve her family's income. Mrs. Tam dreams that her family will soon escape poverty and have a more abundant life. In the picture, she wears a white jumper and stands at the first from the right.
