Salome's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy an efficient, solar-powered freezer to help him have more varied products in his store.

Salome's story

Salome is 38 years old and lives in the community of Atlantida, Honduras. He has worked farming basic grains and rambutan as well as raising livestock for six years. He lives with his wife, Maria, who manages their small grocery store business, and his four children, of whom three are in school.

One of Salome’s greatest desires is to see his children finish their studies and become professionals. He has fought since he was very young to establish his assets so that his family will not be in need and can have a good quality of life.

However, they face some limitations because, in the community where they live, they do not have access to electricity. This makes many of their activities difficult, especially with the small grocery store business as they are not able to offer their clients products that need to be refrigerated (cold meats, dairy products, sodas) or they have to spend money to buy ice to conserve these products.

For these reasons, he has decided to ask for a loan from Soluz Honduras to buy an efficient, solar-powered freezer which will allow him to provide better service to his clients and offer a greater variety of products which will generate greater income.
