A loan helped to buy clothes wholesale.

Espiga De Oro Group's story

The Espiga de Oro communal association will begin its first cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Panamericana branch. It is made up of eight members, and is led by a board of directors. Julia is the president.

The credit they seek will help small entrepreneurs such as Julia. She currently has a business selling clothes. She says she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she is receiving will be used to augment her work capital by buying clothes wholesale. She will acquire them from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, and later sell them from her sales space. This form of work allows her to generate the resources to support her family, as she is married and has seven children.
