Muhayo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped with the purchase of an apricot garden to expand her business.

Muhayo's story

Muhayo is 42 years old. She is married and she has a son. It has been 6 years since Muhayo started working in agriculture. At first, Muhayo faced many difficulties: sometimes there were bad harvests or she was cheated when she was selling her goods. But Muyaho did not despair, she kept trying and today she has a flowering garden and a good income. She began to use cutting-edge technology and the experience of successful gardeners in the cultivation of apricots. Today, the dried apricots that she produces are in great demand both inside the country and abroad.

Muhayo applied to Arvand for a loan. She plans to spend the given funds to buy a new garden to expand her business. In the future she wants to build a sorting plant for dried fruits in order to cover the whole chain of production of this commodity. She is thankful to the Kiva lenders for their support.
