A loan helped to buy more rice, oil, maggi cubes, charcoal and soap to sell.

Patricia's story

This is 36-year-old Patricia. She is married with 3 children. The ages of her children are 4 through 19. Three of her children are in school while living at home. Patricia attended school up to 12th grade.

She runs a business which sells rice, oil, maggi cubes, charcoal and soap. She has been operating this business for the past 6 years. She started her business with some money she received from her husband. She learned the trade from her mother.

In order to add to the business, Patricia asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more rice, oil, maggi cubes, charcoal and soap to sell and expand the business. She is proud of her business because it helps her send her children to school. She sells 9 hours each day and transports her goods by car to her business site. In the future, she would like to build a store. She thanks you for your support.
