A loan helped to purchase some livestock for fattening and resale.

Mariya's story

Mariya is 42 years old and married. She has a higher education and has worked for many years as a nurse in a local hospital. As an additional source of income for her family, she has been involved in agriculture since 1997. By nature, Maria is a very serious and responsible woman. She currently has six cows and 18 sheep on her farm, and she grows potatoes and alfalfa for resale on 1.22 hectares of land.

Eager to expand her activity, Maria has decided to purchase some livestock for fattening and resale and to build additional farm buildings. For this reason, she has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS). She plans to use the earnings from her loan to develop her business and to renovate her house.
