Sumaira's story

Sumaira is a 25-year-old woman living with her spouse in the area of Multan, Pakistan. Sumaira has three children. Her husband is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the entire family, but Sumaira has been running an embroidery business for two years to meet other expenses. Her native language is Punjabi, which she speaks with her family, and she speaks Urdu for her business. Her embroidery business is very famous in the area, and that is the reason her business does well. Due to good customer relations her business has increased. Sumaira wants to meet the demand for bridal dresses. That is why she wants to buy thread, fancy cloth, sequins, and pearls of various colors to have in stock. The challenge Sumaira is facing is not have sufficient capital to run the business.

Therefore, Sumaira humbly requested a loan from BRAC Pakistan. Through this loan, she will be able to buy the thread, fancy cloth, sequins, and pearls of various colors that she needs.
