Celestine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farming inputs such as fertilizers and foliar spray.

Celestine's story

Celestine spent long hours of her childhood watching her parents working on their two-acre farm. She realized that after every harvest, her parents were so delighted and would pay school fees for her. She therefore learned that agricultural production is profitable. After she got married, she established a mixed farm in Kapsowar, a remote village, and settled there with her husband. On her farm, she practices maize farming and rears livestock for meat and milk production.

Through the milk and meat trades, she is able to make profits and meet the basic needs of her family. However, the quality of Celestine's crops is not as good as she would have wished because of poor farm inputs. This has brought about low demand for her crops and has negatively impacted her sales.

Celestine is seeking a helping hand to aid her purchase of fertilizer and foliar spray for her crops to improve the quality of her produce. Celestine is assured of a bumper harvest which will open new markets for her crops and increase her profits.

This will elevate her standard of living as well as that of her beautiful children.
