Rea Nts'a Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for a stove.

Rea Nts'a Group's story

'mabolokang is a 39-year-old mother of six children and a wife to a 49-year-old husband. Her eldest child is 17 years old and the youngest is 8. She stays in a multi-bedroomed house. Both her and her husband are self-employed; she sews clothes like the traditional "seshoeshoe" dresses, which are popular among Basotho women. She says she's saving some money to have electricity at her house. Currently she incurs expenses like LPG, paraffin and candles. With the arrival of the ACE1 stove, there's bound to be a significant reduction in expenses as paraffin and candles won't have to be bought daily for heating and lighting, respectively. This is because the stove will now be used for heating and there's an LED lamp to be used for lighting.

'mabolokang and the other people in the group have requested a loan from Kiva lenders so that they can each pay for a stove.
