My story first starts when I was 10 months old and recently adopted from China. Even at a young age, I loved food. I became enamored with being in the kitchen for my two favorite activities: cooking and eating. By 8 years old, I had made my very first full meal and my brother suggested my mom and I start a web series dedicated to teaching kids how to cook. Thus, Cook Time with Remmi was born. I My current focus is teaching kids how to cook healthy food in hopes of ending the childhood obesity epidemic. To date, I've developed 2 cookbooks, one already published and one soon to be published. I created an Italian salad dressing line sold at Whole Foods Market, Reasor's and Walmart.com. I became the National Student Ambassador for Health and Wellness for Sodexo. This partnership helped grow my speaking abilities and now I have given presentations to hundreds of teenagers interested in entrepreneurship with the help of Independent Youth's Teen Entrepreneur Network. My dreams for the future include opening a restaurant, majoring in something culinary-related in college, and make Chef Club Box Fresh a nationally thriving business.
