Honiara, Capital Territory, Solomon Islands / Agriculture

Jennifer's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy spades, bush knives, hoes, and poultry feed for her business.

Jennifer's story

Jennifer is a 36-year-old woman who is married with three children and lives in a rural community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She has a small garden where she grows fruits and vegetables for sale in her community and at the market to earn a living. To earn extra income, she also runs a poultry business selling local chicken.

Jennifer has requested a loan to pay for gardening tools like spades, bush knives, and hoes to assist her with her farming activities, and poultry feed for her poultry business.

She will use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and other necessary needs of her family.

She joined SPBD in 2016 to gain access to financial services for her business.
