Noong Luong 91 Group's story

The woman who is wearing a green coat in the picture is Chieng. She is 31 years old. She has been a farmer since she was very little.

There are seven people in her house: her husband’s grandmother, her parents-in-law, her husband, two sons and her. They live in a Thai traditional stilt house in a poor village. Her large family has faced lots of difficulties in life because of poverty. Their production is not favorable sometimes because of their lack of understanding about good techniques in farming and animal husbandry. Gradually, the technical and financial support of Anh Chi Em program has helped her to partially overcome the difficulties.

To develop her farming, especially her fish pool of 6,000-meters square, recently she has taken out a loan from the program to buy food for her fish.

She hopes that with the support of the Anh Chi Em team, her investment in fish this time will go well and help her reap a good profit. The profit she will use to invest in raising pigs.
