A loan helped to repair her husband's auto-rickshaw so he can drive it again.

Asia's story

Asia is thirty five-years-old woman; who has a daughter aged three and lives with family in a roomed small house in congested area of Multan, Pakistan. Asia is a housewife and does the household work.

Her husband is a rickshaw driver by profession. He has been running an auto-rickshaw for the last three years, but his rickshaw is not been working properly because of regular use. He observe that most of the major parts are in need to be replaced. These days, he is unable to generate income even a penny.

He wants to fix his auto-rickshaw; however, due to lack of cash in hand, he finds it difficult to cover the repairing cost. Therefore; Asia has requested a loan from Kiva's field partner BRAC Pakistan to help her husband so he can repair it. She is with her husband in the picture. This is Asia’s second loan with BRAC Pakistan. Asia is thankful to Kiva all lenders and BRAC Pakistan.
