Los Valientes Group's story

Wilmer is 31 years old. His civil status is [living in] free union. He lives on the island of Roatan, Islas de La Bahia, with his children and his wife. He has been selling hand-crafted products in the tourist zone of the island of Roatan. He has had this business for two years, selling as a walking vendor in the tourist sector. In addition, he has a grocery store in his house that is run by his wife and from which he obtains other income for the family.

The loan that he is applying for with the institution is in group form. With it, he will buy hammocks to sell as a walking vendor on the pier of the island. His plan is to stock his business with new inventory and products to sell. His goal is to be recognized in the zone and increase his sales.

This group is called "Los Valientes" (The Courageous Ones). It is formed by three members who live in the same community and work in the sale of handicrafts, bags, bracelets, necklaces, and hammocks. The group loan is for 30,000 lempiras for a new stock of hammocks, necklaces, bracelets, and costume jewelry to sell.
