Centrine's story

Centrine is a 24-year-old mother of lovely children. She is an inspirational female farmer from the town of Kitale, where she lives. She started farming four years ago on a small parcel of land owned by her husband. On the farm, she has dairy cows and a small garden.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic therefore, making the kind of inputs that are being used in the sector today upgraded. On this note there is need to use improved farming inputs for effective production. These include high quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.

As a well-versed farmer, Centrine has taken a loan of 20,000 KES, which she will use to pay for farm inputs (high quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides) and hired labor in order to grow more crops on the horticultural farm.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business. She wishes to make more profits to enable her make more income. This loan will have a lasting impact in her heart.
