but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, pasta and oil wholesale.

Jawas Pankaritas 2 Group's story

The “Jawas Pankaritas 2” communal bank is starting their first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Villa Tejada branch office. It is made up of eight members, led by a board of directors with Ortencia as the President.

The loan will benefit all these micro entrepreneurs, Ortencia being one of them. She currently has a business selling meals. She says she learned this business on her own a number of years ago.

The loan that she will now take out is to increase her capital buying rice, pasta and oil wholesale. She will acquire them from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Then she will prepare them and sell them in her sales space. This manner of working allows her to generate resources to support her family economically as she is married and has four children.
