A loan helped to stock up on ten bags of sweet potatoes.
Tuamuke Group's story
Josephine is a businesswoman who sells food items out of her home on a busy street in town. She is the head of the credit group Tuamuke and a client of the MFI Hekima. She is 48 years old, married, and the mother of eight children, all of whom are in school. She will stock up on ten bags of sweet potatoes to strengthen her business and provide her customers with food rich in starches. She started her business using capital received from her husband ten years ago. She hopes to prepare for her children’s return to school. Lastly, she thanks Hekima for the support given to non-bankable entrepreneurs. It should be noted that one of the group members is holding her baby.
