Confiante Group's story

The Confiante group has been a client of the Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for three years and is a group of entrepreneurs who work in Jardim Angela, São Paulo. These clients are working to provide their families with a better future and to move forward with their activities. Adriano will use the loan for vehicle maintenance, as he works in transportation. Durval owns a small bar and will use the loan to buy drinks, snacks, sweets and water. Eder works as a taxi driver and will use the loan for vehicle maintenance and to complete paperwork.

Rita is the group leader. She is unmarried and has no children, but lives with her sister, who has an intellectual disability. Rita has had many problems in her life: her parents died when they were young and they went hungry, with no financial aid. Rita is sociable so she helped a lot of people, working in temporary delivery jobs. She saw the opportunity to start a business and gradually set up a small drinks distribution business. She now serves the community where she lives, and she is happy with her success.

The extra income will help the whole group to keep investing and helping other people. They are grateful to the investors.
