Siraba's Group's story

This group made up of 32 members has been founded in November 2015. It is composed of women from the same village who are very involved. They all get along very well. Their main business is petty trade.
Madam Siraba (who is standing at the far right and raising her hand) is the representative of the group. She is married, 44 years old and the mother of five children.
Her business is the sales of vegetables. With this new loan, she is planning to buy four bags of 50 kg of carrots, two bags of 50 kg of cassava, one bag of turnips and some other condiments that she resells, sometimes wholesale sometimes retail, in her village.
With her earnings, she is planning to contribute to her family's daily spending and strengthen her savings.
