Dora Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in fish and seafood: tilapia, sawfish, laurel, sea bass, shrimp and clams.

Dora Maria's story

A single woman, Dora is a micro-entrepreneur in the city of Bogota. She is 33 years old and a single mother of a 13 year old boy who attends school and is attending first year of high school.

She started her business motivated by giving her son an excellent education and well-being, and in the year 2013 with the support of a countryman from her hometown who taught her everything about the business, she opened her store of fish and seafood. He is her main supplier and since then citizens of Suba have in their neighborhood a place to make their purchases.

Dora needs to improve the business inventory and asked the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation for a credible investment in fish and seafood: tilapia, sawfish, laurel, sea bass, shrimp and clams, so that customers find better choices and she can increase her sales.

Please support her with this loan.
